Hillsboro is a growing city about 17 miles west of Portland in the Tualatin Valley with the Tualatin River as part of its southern border. Condos in Hillsboro are mid rise, townhome style homes in a variety of architectural styles. The city has about 95,000 residents. Intel, Yahoo!, Genentech and many other tech giants have their headquarters in Hillsboro; hence it's moniker as heart of the Silicon Forest. Hillsboro is also the county seat of Washington County.
